Arthur Rivers

Arthur is an obsessive horror movie goer. New release? He is in the theatre!

Arthur is the co-creator and co-host of Grave Tone pod, where he covers horror movies, TV, books, and games alongside Meaghan.

Zombies are the center of gravity. Slow ones, fast ones, the low-budget ones nobody defends (he will defend them). From there his taste spreads out into slashers, folk horror, psychological slow-burns, and found footage that has no business working but somehow does. Paranormal horror is the one corner that actually gets to him, which has never once stopped him from pressing play. He plays horror games and reads horror novels at roughly the same pace he watches films, which is why the show has never stayed in one lane.

Ask him for a top three, and you get Event Horizon, 28 Days Later, and The Descent. Cosmic dread, a sprinting horde, and a cave that keeps getting smaller.

Off the mic, he is either on a trail somewhere or three clicks deep into a horror movie nobody has heard of yet.

Interviews are his favorite part of the job. He has sat down with filmmakers and genre talent including Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn, V/H/S/85) and Ry Barrett (In a Violent Nature), and if you ask him about Fantasia, you will not get a short answer.

Meaghan Mains

I’m a horror-loving bookworm with a fondness for slashers.

I have too much movie trivia on the brain.

My favourite films include Scream, Death Becomes Her & The Lost Boys.
